Q2 Top and Bottom Performing Metro Areas for On-time Bill Payment

 

Experian has released an update to the Business Information Map for Q2 2014. The map offers a state and metro level view of business credit conditions throughout the United States.

When it comes to on time bill payment the national average for Q2 2014 was 4.71 days beyond the contracted term. San Francisco, California remains at the top of the list in first place paying bills just over 3 days beyond term, followed by Omaha, Nebraska at 3.45.

From an industry perspective, Duluth, Minnesota Hospitality businesses are first place with a DBT of 0.57 while neighboring St. Paul is a 4.7.

When we look at trends year over year we can see a cluster formed in the northeast consisting of Norfolk and Richmond, Virginia along with Philadelphia and Baltimore Maryland and further south, Jacksonville, Florida where bills are being paid well beyond contracted term.
